| Environmentally-friendly cultivation Nursery 4Evergreen does everything in its power to save the environment by growing plants in a responsible and ecological way. They predominantly make use of biological weed killers in the glasshouses. 4Evergreen mainly uses the residual heat from the production of electricity to heat the glasshouses. The CO2 that is released in this electricity production is also mainly used for the cultivation of the sweet pepper plants, which turn CO2 into oxygen. All waste products at 4Evergreen are neatly sorted and recycled. For instance, cardboard, paper, plastic, rock wool and green waste is sorted. Rock wool used as a substrate for the plants, for example, is recycled and turned into raw material for bricks. Through our PuraNatura concept we grow 100% USDA Organic sweet peppers.
