| Our Sweet Peppers At the end of the growing season, the current plants are replaced. This process takes place in November and December. The first harvest of these plants takes place in January and only consists of green sweet peppers. The harvest of red and yellow sweet peppers starts approximately 6 to 8 weeks later in March.
Under the right circumstances, each sweet pepper plant can produce about 80 sweet peppers per growing season. This means that 4Evergreen, under optimal conditions, can produce no less than 13 million kilos of sweet peppers per year. By carefully selecting this great variety of sweet peppers based on reliability, quality and shelf life, 4Evergreen endeavours to meet its customers' requirements as much as possible and to deliver the products in any type of packaging. For instance, individually packed, flow packs with 2, 3 or 4 pieces, mixed packaging with different colours, sorted by weight or individually labelled sweet peppers. We can deliver our products in all types of packaging: in blank cartons, in boxes or crates, number counted per carton, stacked per crate, and many more. |
